Llewellin Setters bird hunting dogs breeder at Firecreek Kennels in Loris South Carolina

Hello, My name is Singleton Bailey. My father, Douglas B. Bailey, introduced me to quail hunting and bird dogs. I, like him, love quail hunting and watching bird dogs work. Even though he is deceased, I still maintain my kennel on the same site . There have been bird dogs in the kennel for over fifty years. I have owned English Pointers and English Setters but I never had the pleasure with them that I now have found with the Llewellins. One day I heard a gentleman say, "Never fall in love with anything that can't love you back". Well, the Llewellins sure do love you back. I enjoy helping other people discover what I have found about these wonderful dogs. I get a great since of satisfaction in matching a prospective buyer with a pup. This is not a "money thing" with me. I now own a pharmacy, Loris Drug Store, which my father owned. The pharmacy is my livelihood. Breeding Llewellins is my hobby.

I offer pups from my personal hunting stock. I guarantee all pups to make the ranks of a quality gun dog as well as to make a great family companion and pet. I do not keep my dogs individually penned. I do keep them on dirt in a large, fenced-in area. They are free to run and play. They are a social pack. I believe this type of kennel situation provides for the best environment to produce healthy and happy dogs. It is those 'happy hormones" that I believe produce these excellent pups.
