What our customers have to say

Singleton,
Just wanted to let you know how Dancy is coming along. We took her out with live birds for the first time today. She was awesome, she found and held on her very first one until we kicked it up. I am having a great time with her, she is an absolute crackup. I've never seen such a funny dog. I am in the process of moving now, from my house in town out to my ranch. She'll have about 60 acres to run on out there, and boy does she run! I've attached a few pictures from today, you can't really see her face too well. Thanks for selling her to me and going through the shipping hassles and everything. It has been quite an experience.

Hi Singleton,

I hope all is well in South Carolina and you've seen some birds so far this season. I've attached a few pictures of Cloe. Two of them are from a walking gun dog field trial in CT. She took first in the adolescent group (6-24 months). She had a couple good finds, one of which was in a nook in tree. The third picture is her fist grouse find of the year. Unfortunately, I had a disposable camera and it didn't come out too great. I wish I had enough time to tell you all the different ways she has impressed me so far this season, but I don't. Each time we go out, she learns something new and improves that much more. Last week, I wounded a pheasant and it ran on me. She must have tracked it for half mile (out of beeper range), but after about 15 minutes, she came prancing back with a rooster in her mouth. I'm not sure who was more proud of her, me or her! :)

Thanks again for such a great hunting partner!

Singleton,

Just wanted to let you know that Cloe won another trophy yesterday. I ran her in the New England Brittany Club walking gun dog trial yesterday and she took first place in Juniors (under 2 yrs) out of 20 dogs. She found and pointed 7 birds in 20 minutes. I tried to run her in the Adult stakes, but they wouldn't allow her due to her age.

In any case, I hope all is well with you and your dogs!

Singleton,

Dee continues to do fantastic. Took her to the preserve with Lou about  two weeks ago she did great. She retrieved dead birds and pointed. I was  really surprised! She is a great dog. We love her to death. She is going to  be a great hunter. I walk her with Lou and Stan every Sunday. Dee and Lou do  great together. It is like they know they are sisters. Had a man call me tonight in reference to your puppies. He was from Salisbury NC. I gave you  an A+. Told him you breed excellent hunting dogs and I was thrilled with  Dee, also told him about Lou and what a great hunter she is. If I can be of any further help please feel free to use me. I am very grateful for Dee.

 Mr. Bailey,

I want to take this time to tell you just what a pleasure Dee is for  me. She is the most loving pet I have ever had. She is like one of us  humans. She hasn't figured out she is a dog. I think We will keep it that  way. She is wonderful in the house as well as the field. We have lots of  pictures of her we will send one when developed. When you wanted a special home for her she surely got it with us. Thank you again for such a special  gift.

 Hi Singleton,
Just wanted to let you know how well Deb is doing. She has made a wonderful addition to our family. She is so full of love and just wants to please all of the time. She is already retrieving her toys with so much glee I swear you can see her laugh at me when she hands over the toy. I know all of the litter is adopted now and I'm sure they are as happy as my wife and I are. Thank you again for helping us find the right puppy for our family.

Singleton,

I wanted to share with you Tally's progress as she is turning into one remarkable hunting companion. This week I hunted with her for the first time. At six months old she is better than many finished dogs I have hunted over. Her potential is unlimited. At six months she is steady at wing, has marked every dead bird and retrieves 100% of the time, of which 70% she hands me the bird and the other puppy takes over and she starts to play, usually dropping the bird after a verbal command or two. Her ability to find birds is as good as I have ever seen as is her point-textbook point. She works very hard in the field and really seems to enjoy it. When on point, if I do not  spot the bird quickly, she will move in closer at voice command-slowly-until I spot the bird and can flush it. She rarely flushes the bird . She hunts close which is what we've worked her to do. I could go on about her but think you can get the idea. Several people thought she was a year or two old and nearly "finished" and  I have referred several interested people to you after I declined offers to sale Tally. Of course I have bragged about her as a companion in the filed, built she is also great with the family and other animals, including the cat. She is affectionate and loves attention and our laps.  I will send some photos soon. Thank you again.
